The 2020 estimated population was 254,995. Scottsdale is bordered by the McDowell Mountains Sonoran Preserve and is located 13 miles northeast of Downtown Phoenix, is in the Maricopa County municipality. The climate is comfortable with average temperatures ranging from 50 – 108 °F.
Scottsdale is known as “The World’s Finest Golf Destination,” and it’s easy to see why when you consider the city’s roster of luxury resorts, 300+ days of annual sunshine and high-caliber courses like TPC Scottsdale, Troon North and Grayhawk.
